Winter Weather Wallops Writers
No sooner had I posted the announcement about going to the 2010 Ragan Speechwriters Conference than word came from the organizers that the event has been canceled due to the snowstorms that have hit the Washington DC area.
I was looking forward to presenting at the event and meeting colleagues. Seeing the city under a blanket of snow would have been an added bonus.

I assume this will be rescheduled for later in the year, if we’re lucky it’ll be in cherry blossom season.
