The danger of standard graphics templates
Graphics design maven Nancy Webb warns of the danger to your corporate identity if you use templates from Microsoft Office Publisher or PowerPoint as a short-cut.
So I should not have been surprised when the Publisher template I chose for my recent One Sheet draft shows up mid-way down the page of summer specials from a San Francisco Day Spa.
I doubt we have the same clients. But even the slight risk of being asked to offer a Brazilian wax job for my next keynote speech client is reason enough to drop the current format!
